About Electrolux

Electrolux is no ordinary electronics company; it strives to improve the lives of people worldwide. Not only does it produce cutting-edge technology, but it also boasts a relentless commitment to combating climate change and ending world poverty. Electrolux delivers on its promise to change the world for the better.

Extraordinary Products

Electrolux has been making and selling home appliances since 1919. It has a strong presence in over 150 markets across 6 continents on which it makes about 60 million sales every year. Electrolux never settles for mediocrity. Our core philosophy compels us to continually improve until perfection is reached. Our profound concern for customer satisfaction makes our business practices ethical and sustainable. Saying that Electrolux manufactures household appliances would be a gross oversimplification; Electrolux has revolutionized the way food is prepared in our everyday lives. After numerous iterations, Electrolux ovens are at the top of the market in terms of quality. Even more pragmatic options such as the microwave guarantee exceptional taste and nutritional value. Electrolux pledges to make the world a healthier and cleaner place. Our laundry machines and commercial dishwashers are at the forefront of world technology in their field. They remove the burden of housework by making every household chore incredibly easier.

Continual innovation, thorough testing, and creative ingenuity have granted Electrolux widespread recognition and partnerships with illustrious brands such as AEG, Zanussi, and Frigidaire.

Going Green

Electrolux is not just efficient in its production, it is also one of the leaders in mitigating the harmful effects of climate change. Achieving better sustainability is a mission we pledge to pursue; it is not just lip service we pay to governments and international organizations.
We believe that corporations have a profound responsibility to save the environment. Electrolux has met the requirements of the Waste Electrical & Electronic-Equipment directive, or simply referred to as WEEE. The directive demands that we recycle our waste or transform it into renewable energy.
Electrolux was one of the masterminds behind the conception of ERP (The European Recycling Platform) alongside Sony, Braun, and Hewlett Packard. Since its advent, The European Recycling Platform has recycled a tremendous amount of electric waste. This is only a small fraction of the ongoing battle for a better future initiated by Electrolux.

Kinder World

By being pioneers in their industries, Electrolux employees continually work towards making business practices more ethical and more sustainable.  The health and safety of our workers are a top priority that should never be compromised under any circumstances. We plan to continue reducing our TCIR (global injury rate) each year and get safety certifications for our projects worldwide. Every individual who works at Electrolux is part of our large family; work injuries are something we will never stop condemning and preventing. We are also determined to increase the levels of diversity among our ranks. Electrolux is a multicultural company which embodies the best of various cultures; we have a 0 tolerance policy for discrimination on the basis of gender, race, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation.

Our comprehensive code of ethics paves the way to a corruption-free and transparent company adamant on advocating for human rights. Electrolux has a high standard of excellence in everything it does – from providing state-of-the art house appliances to being a force for good.
